Mord whispers into the sending stone hoping that Kurzon is close enough to hear. But not the Lizardmen. "Who cares. Find out if they have what ae need and let them have him in exchange. We have other battles to fight today. And no time tonwasteon deciding who is right. I can on your signal I will create an image of the one we have as an example."

Hoping that Kurzon takes advantage of his offer, Mord prepares an image of the statuette in his mind and prepares to create the illusion.

Udit's eyebrows raised at Snore-Loska's display - damn he was going to sell it! Heck, he couldn't quite tell if he was faking or was about to attack out of sheer machismo.

He then squinted at Guldred - that conniving bastard! He glanced around. There was a 50/50 chance this was going to go bad... and if so... he was going to have to shoot someone in the neck. Udit gently faded into the shadows and prepared an arrow, with but the faintest of rustle.

The lizardfolk look about to attack as Mord produces an illusion of a Bhaalite Idol, but SnorLoska growls and they hesitate long enough to see that it is not some sort of betrayal, but a request. Mulgruk looks at it blinking, and one of the other lizrdfolk shuffles forward, speaking Draconic. Mulgrek translates, "We do not have that, but Shossa here sssay she sssee one like it. The human bosss hass one."

He gestures vaguely toward the other side of the lake, toward the Temple. "Ssso, I anssswer. You give usss Guldred?"
 



Mulgrek considers for a moment, and then answers, "We will take him prissssoner, take him home with usss. Guldred will anssswer for hiss crime."

"No! No! Liesss!" says Guldred, in the only common that he knows, and leaps at the much larger, much healthier Mulgrek, trying to bite him.

Mulgrek easily avoids the attack and raises his Trident in retaliation....


GM: If you want to intercede, if you can beat an 11 Initiative, you can go before Mulgrek. (If you want).
