(The tokens disappear when I try to move the map. I think when I click to drag it, it 'selects' the map and causes it to move on top of the character tokens.)
Armides feels a lot safer with his bow in hand and so, he readies it. He can't see anything yet so he cast Light into the room. However, based upon Silhouette's comment, he doesn't expect the spell is powerful enough to affect the darkness in any degree.
"Well, I had to try it," he mutters.
