If Paizo had gone 4E ...

Dear 3.X Player,

If Paizo had gone 4E, would you be buying their material?
No, I wouldn't.

Sadly, I no longer have time these days to convert adventures - whether it's different rules systems or even too much integration of a campaign setting (as soon as Paizo jams a bit too much Golarion down my throat and loses it's adaptability to different settings, I'll dump them then, too. Not at that point yet, though).

I am a 4ed player. No need for any more 3.x stuff, but

If Paizo makes any 4ed adventures (down the road), I will buy them.

RK

Ditto - I had just discovered Paizo when I found out they weren't going 4e - I'm sad I missed them, as they have a good rep, and if they ever go 4e, I'll definitely at least try them out.

I'm going 4E... and I'm still buying the occasional Paizo book, simply because their stuff is really good. But if they had gone the 4E route, I'd buy the APs, not just the fluff-heavy material.

Cheers, LT.

As a 4e player that gets a big Yes.

It would be great to see a Pathfinder AP for 4e I loved their products and was saddened when I had to let my subscriptions go.

I'm not planning on playing that much 4Ed.

If I did, I would probably be buying 4Ed product from quality 3PPs like Paizo (assuming, as the OP did, that Paizo went 4Ed).

If Paizo went 4Ed and I continued with 3.X (as is my current plan), I probably wouldn't buy that much of their stuff, since it wouldn't be for any system I like. If, however, the product in question were outstanding, I'd have to give it at least a closer look.

After all, I dislike GURPS, but I still occasionally buy some of their supplements.

I just cancelled my Pathfinder subscription because we're not playing the Pathfinder RPG, or 3.5 D&D - we moved on to 4e. I'd have it back in a flash, though, if they converted.

I'm a 3.5 player, I don't want or need 4E products.

If Paizo had gone 4E, I'd stop giving them my money on a regular basis the way I do now. As it stands, I hope they stay 3.5 for a very, very long time. They're the last major bastion of 3.5 support.

I think that even if the GSL was changed into a 4e OGL, Paizo would still stick with Pathfinder RPG. Not because I think it is good, but simply because there are always some percentage of gamers that stick with the old edition, no matter what, and having those buy most of your products beats having a lot more gamers buy some adventures here and there. It's just where the money is, for Paizo.
