If Paizo had gone 4E ...

Dear system X player, do you realize that Piazo makes many system neutral products like battle matts and tiles that are useful for any fantasy setting? Do you realize that Piazo makes many miniatures and that they have teamed up with Crocodile Games to bring even more awesomeness to your table top regardless of your game?
There Paizo is not as obviously better than the pack, IMHO. It is their modules I used to buy/subscribe to and would love to see in 4e

No more APs for me regardless of system. Though I'd certainly swipe up individual adventures if they were good. I liked the GM ones I got before I ended that sub.

No, I wouldn't.

Sadly, I no longer have time these days to convert adventures - whether it's different rules systems or even too much integration of a campaign setting (as soon as Paizo jams a bit too much Golarion down my throat and loses it's adaptability to different settings, I'll dump them then, too. Not at that point yet, though).
This, exactly.

These days, I won't convert adventures between systems - I really don't have either the time or the inclination to do so (if I'm converting, I figure I might as well create my own adventures whole-cloth). So, I won't buy support material for a game that I'm not playing fairly extensively.

That said, I'm still not off the fence regarding 4e. It may be that my group loves it (looking doubtful, but possible), in which case we'll switch over and drop support of (3.5e/Pathfinder) Paizo. It may be that we hate it, and stick entirely with 3.5e, in which case I wouldn't buy any 4e Paizo products (or Pathfinder ones, for that matter). It may be that we hate 4e, but elect to switch to Pathfinder when it's available (frankly, the most likely option), in which case we'll stick with Paizo (this scenario is predicated on them not going 4e themselves, of course). Or it may be that we play all three, in which case I'd buy Paizo regardless.

Not terribly clear, I know, but that's the answer.

Back in days of yore, when we didn't know what Paizo were going to be doing, I assumed Second Darkness was going to be for 4th edition.

I planned on buying it anyway, and deciding whether or not to switch to 4th edition based on how much I liked Second Darkness and the 4th edition Tome of Horrors.

A lot has happened since then. Now I think I'd probably pick up a Paizo 4th edition product if it sounded really good, but otherwise I wouldn't.

Two DMs of me are currently converting the first 2 Pathfinder Adventure Paths to 4E for my group. We didn't plan that originally, and fully expected to run 3.5/Pathfinder Alpha/Beta till the end of these campaigns.

I don't know what we'll do once Savage Tides and these two Paths are over, but if there was a Paizo 4E adventure path, we would certainly pick it up then!

So, yes, of course we'd buy more Paizo products if they were also supporting 4E.

You know, I think Paizo can and does get a couple bucks from 4e players who still buy Paizo products - and then convert them.

I imagine if Paizo went 4e, there would be far fewer 3e players that grab those products and do the same conversion for their system.

Right now 4e players don't seem too "bitter" against Paizo, but I'd imagine their PF crowd would want to burn down the building if Paizo decided to go 4e. Paizo has a very loyal core of fans, and loyalty can turn ugly if those patrons feel "betrayed".

At best, if the GSL allows it, I'd see Paizo doing both 4e and PF.

Not to be a broken record, but I'd love to see Paizo get Dragon/Dungeon back and do them 4e, and keep all the PF stuff for their PF fans.
