I'm off to surgery tomorrow...

Gotta get my back cut-on bright and early tomorrow morning. I have a collapsed vertebrae that is grinding against another one. There is virtually no disc left between the two. So they are going to fuse the two vertebrae together with a bone graft. Fairly routine they tell me, but I'll be in the hospital for 4 days and off of work for a month.

Pray you never have back trouble. As painful as the recovery is, I'm looking forward to the surgery. At times just sitting, standing, and sneezing are unbearable.

Of course I'll only be missing one week of gaming . Graciously, one of the members of the group is continuing his Star Wars campaign while I'm on the mend. So I get to play and not DM, as I normally do.
