I only give people the toys, what they do with them is their business.

I don't know what you are saying here, that using a multiple power effect abilities used in tandem with other effects can be complicated...of course it can be. But if the PC in question has got to the point where they have both Bane Effect and Atomic Effect then let them have their fun...and if they can't work it all out within one minute tell them they lose a round.

I'm saying it would be clearer to state that a given HD can only be used to power a single [Effect]

um yeah, the current incarnation of the science portfolio has been replaced by the psionics appendix, U_K hasn't decided what to do with the Science portfolio at this time

Okay, just updated 3.0. Theres bound to be something wrong with it but its virtually finished shall we say. Those waiting on emailed copies I'm in the process of sending them as I type this.

Jedrous, I like your feat, but I'd suggest one change: it should also scale save DCs, rather than having them be an exception. I know some powers have an augmentation listing regarding their save DC already, but this feat doesn't seem to do enough without also scaling DCs.

hmm, got an idea for a patch for it

Echelons of Power [Epic, Psionic]
Prerequisites: Ability to Manifest 9th level psionic powers, Psicraft 25 ranks
Benefit: When augmenting a power, every 2 power points spent to augment the power increases the effective level of the power for all purposes except.
Special: Your powers that increase save dcs by augmentation no longer do so.

Howdy Axolotl mate!

Why is the Science portfolio all abouts psionics and yet opposed to magic? It doesn't make sense.

The initial Science portfolio was not going to be about psionics at all, but with the portfolios done after the divine abilities I found that not only did I need to create the new spells for the Science Domain (which I wanted to keep fror the Grimoire), but also new abilities. So it sort of ended up converted to a sort of half-psionics portfolio.

I still haven't decided what to do with it. Ideally convert the psionics bits into something more 'sciency'. But I fear that may be impossible without an extended write up or creation of new powers.
