Rabulias
the Incomparably Shrewd and Clever
I felt it undermined the whole grieving aspect the show had going on
Her stepdad is probably still dead?

I'm not a fan of characters like that either, so hopefully they intend to give Riri a redemption arc at some point.I hate characters like that and do not consider them to be true anti-heroes. Those examples are still criminals and horrible people. Wolverine and Loki and Jack Sparrow are anti-heroes. An anti-hero has to be redeemable, so maybe Riri will follow in some fellow superhero paths.
I can't speak for everyone, but earlier interactions in the thread showed some were not fully current on the episodes, and I hate to spoil people even if it's their own fault.Side question - the thread title literally says ‘Spoilers’ … why are some folks still putting things behind spoiler blurs?
Fair enough!I can't speak for everyone, but earlier interactions in the thread showed some were not fully current on the episodes, and I hate to spoil people even if it's their own fault.
I don't the grieving was the impetus for her to take the deal. Without that, there's no reason for her to take it. And I think that Natalie was a setup by Mephisto in the first place. Thinking back to how Zeke said that the amount of power required would fry someone's brain and the fact that she couldn't do it - that wasn't a glitch. That was Mephisto. And that's the reason that the magic was incompatible with the AI.I felt it undermined the whole grieving aspect the show had going on
Because it just came out and everyone doesn't watch at the same rate. Next week? I won't. But I have enough respect for people's schedules to know that everyone doesn't have three hours the night it drops.Side question - the thread title literally says ‘Spoilers’ … why are some folks still putting things behind spoiler blurs?
I don't think she really needs redemption- just accountability. She hasn't done anything truly wrong- even taking the blame for the cousin I think was a bit far-fetched. She was barely on her feet, just like him. Nat swooped in and took her out. Now how it popped off was completely on her and her arrogance. Every time Natalie warned her about something - she did it anyway.I'm not a fan of characters like that either, so hopefully they intend to give Riri a redemption arc at some point.
Right but … the thread title literally says Spoilers.Because it just came out and everyone doesn't watch at the same rate. Next week? I won't. But I have enough respect for people's schedules to know that everyone doesn't have three hours the night it drops.
Yes, this I know. But I still do it because not everyone can watch as soon as it drops. Just my preference, as someone else said.Right but … the thread title literally says Spoilers.
