Spoilers Ironheart spoilers

Well, that ending makes me greatly dislike this character now. I hope we don't see her again until Secret Wars. And someone still being alive in the post-credits scene was disappointing.
Because grief and trauma makes her do something stupid? In my opinion, she was set up for this - Natalie wasn't a glitch, she was bait. And she deliberately didn't kill him- there was no way he was dead, just suffering from a loss of power.

When I say not dead, I am referring to Mephisto not claiming his soul or something and leaving him as a loose end.

His soul is already forfeit. There's no reason to claim it prematurely, when he can leave him around to cause misery in the world. That's been how I've seen it handled in most media dealing with soul bartering - it happens at the time of death.

I didnt expect to see Mephisto in Ironheart (is the link canon in the comics?) but I did enjoy Sasha Baron Cohen in the role - he even looks a lot like the comic book version (even if we only get the red in an easter egg)

Also does this mean Mephisto is going to be a major antagonist to Dr Doom? (I hope so)

I enjoyed the last three episodes; they were much more comic action focussed and being in a chunk of 3 episodes ran like a movie. Still lots of questions though

I enjoyed the show. I was not expecting that ending, at all.
Really hope we get a Season 2.

I enjoyed The Hood as a character, so I was happy he wasn't killed off.
One complaint I see a lot about Marvel is that they kill off villains too quickly.

My main knowledge of Marvel these days comes from Marvel Snap cards, so. out of interest, was the character that Alden Ehrenreich played from the comics, or was it created for the show?

A combination of the two. Ezekiel Stane does exist in the comics, but doesn't have a relationship with Ironheart. But Mephisto doesn't either. He also was raised to get vengeance for Obadiah Stane on Iron Man, so I liked that twist, along with the fact that he wasn't arrogant like in the comics.

Yeah having Zeke Stane turn up was a nice touch given how long ago Obadiah had his 'plane accident' and that Obadiah was the very first villain killed off quickly. Funnily enough Zeke is the character from the show I'd most like to see make a reappearance in the MCU (well him and Mephisto).

I don't know... I love the different take on Riri and the Hood. Both of them I didn't really care about in the comics. The twists they did really made them resonate with me. And I definitely want to see more of Natalie.

Tony Soprano is not an antihero. He’s the main protagonist of the show, sure, but he’s an out and out villain.
OK. l’ve never watched Breaking Bad or The Sopranos, so I was just going by what the article I linked to said: “Marvel executive producer Sev Ohanian says Ironheart's Riri Williams goes down a similar path to some of TV's greatest antiheroes.”

Sev is quoted as saying “She kind of breaks bad in the show, and we go to some uncomfortable places for audiences that I think will be really fun to explore, almost in the vein of Walter White from Breaking Bad or Tony Soprano."
