I don't suppose you could get her to play? :)

Not a chance in the world. My campaign to ease her into geekdom and gaming is long, arduous, and fiercely contested. The spreadsheet has a timeline of 20 years. She has seen and enjoyed the Lord of the Rings. Phase 1.c. is complete.

Phase 1.d. is underway with the education of the boys (3 and 5yo). They love Pokemon and YuGiOh (art, cartoons, and games (see above post)) and last night they each received their own set of dice, under the guise of teaching mathematical concepts, with no seeming disapproval from their mother. They spent almost a half-hour rolling, admiring their new acquisitions, and asking questions. I almost wept.

World of Warcraft (level 32 Undead Warrior on Hellscream)
Civ3 Conquests
Doom3 (going through it again on the hardest difficulty setting)

Anxiously awaiting KotOR 2 for PC.

Anybody have FF:Tactics for GBA?
Yep. If you liked the first one (PS1), you'll like this one. Plays much the same as the original with a few tweaks, brand new storyline, and music compositions that rival the original. The game does skew a little... "young"... which does detract a bit from the game, but no where near enough to prevent one from having a really good time with it.

Just got The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap for GBA. Almost finished the first dungeon. Pretty good, but it seems to me that Link moves too slow. You can roll with R, but on an SP, it's a bit of a strain to hold your index finger where the R button is.

P.S. Got Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, but I haven't played it yet.

City of Heroes.

I tried WoW during Beta, but just didnt get at all hooked. Actually, I kind of disliked it. It did all the things CoH does well, much worse, IMO.

Which is odd, to me, since I really wanted to like WoW.

Since most of my friends seem to be suffering from the Blizzard Bug (World of Warcraft) and I'd rather spend that $15 / month fee on something else since my City of Heros timecard ranout, I ended up getting addicted to Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War after only 1 day. Heck, I stayed up til 5 am and had to get up at 8 am! Who needs sleep when there's caffeine and another day off? :] I hope in the inevitable expansion, they'll at least add the Tyranids if not others like Necrons or Tau.

However I'm -><- this close to getting KotOR 2 for the ol' X-Box and definitely want to try Jade Empire.
