Jazzed-up Mountain Dew in Canada!

Dextra also loves the Fresca. I can't stand it, but that has to do with my hate of all things aspartame. BLEHHH!!!!

As for the Dew... it is, quite frankly... vile. I'm a cola & ice tea kind of guy.

As for the Sugar-Free aspect, Vraille, Dextra is also diabetic, so she drinks sugar-free drinks. In fact, until now, we had our American friends 'smuggle' up Diet Dew for her every summer, and we'd bring up a few cases after Origins and after GenCon. Now we just have to have them import Diet Code Red for her and she's in heaven.

Drinking that nasty green stuff.

I've always been entertained by Canada's Caffeine restrictions. Do you know - did they change the laws? Or has Dew just found a clever way around it?

I don't know. I'm assuming they actually changed the laws. The package doesn't say anything about Guarana, but it DOES have a large warning that the drink contains Caffeine.

Yea, my mom's diabetic & had to switch from Pepsi to Diet Rite.

As for me, I've started brewing fresh loos leaf tea. (I've got 30 or so differenty types). Haven't drunk a lot of soda (of any type) for a year.

Plus, Caffiene takes a long time to work its way out of my system. One can of Mt Dew, I'm up all night. And I see no reason to drink Caf-Free Mt Dew.

I regard soda as a treat now, more like a cookie than an ever-present beverage.

I've lost 10 lbs.
