TSR Just when you thought it was all over.... now there’s a fourth TSR!

In the story that will never end, after having this week turned itself into Wonderfilled, Inc, and deleted its Twitter account, TSR is BACK AGAIN! Like again, again, again, again. In the story that will never end, after having this week turned itself into Wonderfilled, Inc, and deleted its Twitter account, TSR is BACK AGAIN! Like again, again, again, again. Complete with old-school logo! And Michael appears to actually exist!

Michael K. Hovermale says in a press release that an unnamed individual (I’m guessing Stephen Dinehart) apparently ran all the social media accounts for TSR, Dungeon Hobby Shop Museum, Ernie Gygax, Justin LaNasa, and Giantlands. He goes on to say that this person has been replaced, and that all posts on those social media accounts are "invalid". There's no mention of Stephen Dinehart's social media accounts though.

Dinehart has left TSR3, taking Giantlands with him. Given that Star Frontiers mentions have been quietly removed a week or so ago, that would leave TSR3.5 without any roleplaying game products, as far as I can tell.

The existing (TSR3} website still says it's WONDERFILED (sic), Inc. However there’s now a NEW one at TSR Hobbies. We’ll call that TSR3.5 for now. I’m struggling to distinguish TSRs from tribbles at this point. They just keep on coming!

I don't really know what to say anymore, but my job is to report the news. So here's the news.

How many shows or movies would be shorter if someone made a call from a land line in the next room or simply LEFT? How many times do we see Cassandra-esque scientists get ignored until it’s almost too late?

Many situations unfold the way they do in TV & movies because of key mistakes made by those in the settings. I mean, how does a (slow) zombie apocalypse happen in a world with fast communication AND modern arsenals? Decision makers simply don’t believe in the nature and scope of the problem. VERY unreali…ohhhhhhhhh.
So what you are saying is that we aren't in reality, but some sort of ... joke reality? I knew it!

The Walking Dead at least had a legitimate excuse because in that universe there never was a zombie movie/TV/novel craze, so the whole concept of "aim for the head" did not exist. And many people learned the hard way that was the only thing that would stop a zombie for good.

Except we also know that fire and bombs work just as well, as those are easy to come by or improvise.

And once ANYONE figured that out, social media would ensure EVERYONE knew.

IOW, TWD’s apocalypse depends on nobody trying flamethrowers, Molotov cocktails, bombs, grenades, IEDs, etc., and/or passing it along.

It also presupposes nobody ever envisioned scenarios like in Failsafe, War of the Worlds, The Andromeda Strain, Aliens or any number of kaiju movies in which someone suggests nuking the problem would be a good idea.

yet no one from this “old school” circle has called them out.
Then you aren't talking to enough of the "old school" people.

One of the reasons they freaked out so much is that the pushback they expected from the "woke" contingent that they deride ALSO came from the old school crowd except for the usual suspects who we've already tried to keep isolated from our old school games.
