Keen bows, crossbows, and slings a possibility?

I'm sure this must have already been discussed, but I've been unable to locate a thread on it. If anyone can reference one for me, please do.

As per the DMG errata, which indicates that, "Only piercing or slashing weapons can be enchanted to be keen.", does this now mean that a ranged weapon can bestow this magical quality on its ammunition (similar to Flaming, Shocking, etc.)?

I see no reason why not. Although the ammunition would need to be enchanted rather than the weapon that fires it, simply because of the fact that there are keen arrows, but no keen longbows.
