You have it right. At best Finnean is a supplemental leader, giving the group one more heal an encounter. It might balance itself out more in later levels, but right now he is more striker.

Actually I just mis-remembered the spelling... I've been pronouncing it "treez" in my brain. Fixed it. Apologies.
