Leif's 4E Adventuring in Encastulum [IC 01]

[Leif]

The Boisterous Bluejay, John Applejohn, Prop.

Your host bids you goodnight as he retires to his chamber with his missus.

As tired as you all are, sleep does not come to you immediately -- there is a cranky whippoorwill not far from your window. He gets his fill after a bit and quiets down, and then you all fall into slumber and see dreams of a quaint inn deep in the wilderness where you get a strong feeling that something is not quite right. You wake with a start, and looking around see that all of your companions are also awake.

 

[Scotley]

Rydan sits up and rubs his eyes. He says softly, "I had the strangest dream. I have the oddest feeling that all is not well."

OOC: Is there any light in the room.

 

[Leif]

Light

There are two candlesticks on the bedside tables, and one more on a table across the room.

 

[Scotley]

Rydan lights the two candles at hand.

 

[Leif]

The room is simple but serviceable. The bedclothes, curtains, and small rug look more like they were sewn with a tent peg rather than a needle. The furniture is rough hewn from local hardwood.

 

[Scotley]

Rydan blinks confused. "I would have sworn something was amiss. Did you hear anything?" He asks the others.

 

[Leif]
