Keep on the Shadowfell Dungeon

Basher7 boldly strides forward and springs the trap -- a stone-colored canvas was stretched over a pit, and Basher7 has fallen ten feet to the bottom [taking 3 hp damage]. The squeaking sounds now obviously come from the swarm of rats at the bottom of the pit and they rush over Basher7 doing an additional 5hp damage. [Basher7 needs to roll a save vs. the ongoing damage, if he fails, he'll be taking 3 hp of ongoing damage until he saves.]

Tarrk, I'm not quite sure if you moved onto the pit trap or not. Tell you what, give me a reflex save DC 11 to avoid falling when Basher7 springs it for sure. If Tarrk falls, he'll take 6 hp damage.

[Ozy, no the goblin is still very much alive.] Speaking of which, the goblin now claps his hands with glee as Basher7 plummets into the depths of what he thinks is his ultimate funsies, and he moves off to the south, giggling.

OOC: in 4E there are no "reflex saves", either reflex defenses(IE You roll to see if he is hit by it) or saves but I suggest you let him roll a dexterity check to see if he manage to turn his momentum away from the pit or you can make a perception check to see if he notices it when his friend falls in it

Good point, Ozy, thanks! Ok, WD, give us a dex check. If successful, you will stop on the northern edge of the pit, if not, Tarrk falls with the results given in my last post.

[sblock=OOC-scotley]you forgot to add the +2 basher has against ongoing damage due to being an warforged but seeing as you rolled a one, the outcome is the same[/sblock]

Ghraere moves forward and tries to help Basher with the rats by slapping the rats off his comrade

[sblock=OOC]heal check on Basher=23

Roll a save again, Scotley

OOC: [sblock=Ozymandias79]I did forget, thanks. As you noted it would take a lot more than a +2 to help in this situation, but maybe it will come in handy next round. [/sblock]
