Tracking the P. Worm

Things look a good bit different to Eldran now, as opposed to when he was in elemental form and in an underwater environment, but he estimates as closely as he is able, and he has a reasonable amount of confidence that he is fairly close to the point above which he traversed the tunnel back into the riverbank that led into the chamber that had a dry ground portion. At this position, there is a swell just back from the riverbank that blossoms into a hill, which is dotted with the broken ground, boulders, and scree previously mentioned.

Sozin shrugs, climbs up to the top of the hill, and begins stomping around.

 

[Helfdan]

"Gentlemen, unless our aerial brethren can find another entrance, we shall have to swim to get inside..."

 

[Scotley]

Yurei circles slowly over over the hillside looking for likely spots.

Searching the hillside

Yurei and Sozin do not find a cave entrance or anything that looks like a storm cellar or a basement door, much to their consternation. What they do find is about a hundred tons of feldspar scree and one outcropping of finely-grained, high-quality granite.

 

[Helfdan]

Eldran smiles briefly. "It's merely 12 paces or so, gentlemen. Anyone else up for a swim?"

Dontrius

Dontrius drops off his horse and wobbles over to the water's edge, "A swim might help sober me up." Looking at the water and sizing up the swim, he starts stripping off his armor, evaluating his items one by one for water safety and reliability.
