for my invocations for my lock 12/psion 8... I took these invocations.. but then again he was a ranged lock too.. not a melee critter heh...

Vitrolic is a must once you reach 12th.... I would suggest Voidsense because really who COULDN'T use blindsense at 30' heh... "sneak up on me?.. sorry.. I'll have NONE of that" hehe

I would assume given the highlighted text I've highlighted that you can't do with with hideous blow.... as it requires a melee attack to do so.. BUT... what stops it from arcing from the primary target which was hit with a melee attack, arcing from him and from there becoming a ranged touch attack at that point starting the arc from the primary target to a secondary?
Gauntlets of Eldritch Energy: I must be missing the punchline of this ability, since Untyped damage is generally superior to typed damage. Does changing the energytype improve something? Or is it just situational for when we encounter foes that have elemental vulnerabilities?Ok Theroc now you can redo your gear if you want to afford:
Gauntlets of Eldrich energy - 5000g 3 times a day you can imbue your Eblast with a type of energy (chosen when gauntlets are made) Cant be used with E essence invocation.
Greater chausible of fell power - 18,000g throat slot +2d6 to Eblast all the time.
and
Warlocks Scepter - 8305g +1 mace, +1 profane bonus to ranged touch attacks.
5 charges each dawn:
1 charge: +1d6 Eblast dmg
3 charge: +2d6 Eblast dmg
5 charge: +4d6 Eblast dmg

Monks suffer severely from MAD.
Wisdom for AC and uses of stunning stuff, Dex for AC any any ranged stuff(as well as bonuses to reflex saves), Strength for damage and accuracy, and con for if they get hit.
Pretty much they need to dump int(which means low skills), and charisma(which means no one likes them). And then they still have trouble keeping up with the epic weapons and the like as players level up... as well as issues when caught flatfooted.
