Leif's 'The Hall of the Rainbow Mage' [A] (D&D 3.5 OOC)

You're doing just fine, man. ;)

But, for future reference, moonshine and incest are always fertile grounds. hehehe :)

Ha, I can't tease anyone about Moonshine. I'm likely to drink that right along with you. ;)

What about Utah? (Besides Mormons, I mean -- religion is totally off-base!) Is that your original stomping ground, or are you a transplant?

Originally from California, then spent a year in Montana, and then moved to Utah. I've been in Utah over 20 years now though, so it is pretty much home.

I've not actually got hold of much true homebrew stuff, but I understand that it can double as a pretty good paint remover!

Cool. I've been to california exactly once, and that was almost 20 years ago. Never been to Utah or Montana. The closest I've been to Montana was when I was in basic training for the Army and there was a guy two bunks down from me who was from Montana. :) He wasn't the typical "Marlboro Man", though. ;) (neither are you, for that matter. I'm sure you're very relieved to hear that.)

Sounds tasty to me! LOL. I actually homebrew my own beer sometimes. Not moonshine to be sure, and some of it comes out pretty yummy.

Yeah, I'm not much of a marlboro man. I'm more the pretty boy type. :) And hey, anytime you want to come visit Utah, just let me know. I've got a guest room.

I've been to Cali once as well, although it was about 4 years ago, I went to E3, which was great fun. I flew from Detroit so maybe I flew over Utah (not too familiar with US Geography).

I can definitely be talked into taking you up on that! And I can and will reciprocate the offer, too! (No guest room, but plenty of couch space and even one hide-a-bed. (But it's pretty old so you might prefer a couch?)

A defnite 'maybe' is the best I can give you there. It's certainly possible, but given these cali airlines, who knows? hehe Rhun knows better than I if there are any major cities in Cal. at about the right latitude.

Sweet! I've never been to Arkansas! :)

Very possible that he crossed over Utah...I'm not sure where exactly the airways run, but we are definitely right in the way.

Let's just face facts then -- You OWE it to yourself to see "The Natural State" as soon as ever you can, then! :) Might be best if we can sneak in a trip to Hot Springs while you're here. It's a pretty long drive, but it's the former summer getaway of the Chicago mob. :D And it has one of the two legal gambling venues (at least before we legalized the lottery last year), the other being the Dog Track at West Memphis, no far from Jonesboro. One thing we definitely need to make time for is a trip to Blanchard Springs Caverns. Talk about inspiration for D&D!!

[sblock=Disclaimer]Did I mention that I get a break on my state taxes for acting as 'Goodwill Ambassador'/'Tourism Advocate' :D[/sblock]

Revised marching order has now been copied/pasted into the first post in the RG.

Sweet. Also, I know I've been a bit behind, but I plan to have the finishing touches on Vaidun this weekend...he is mainly complete, just need to update his gear and spellbook, as I spent too much cash and need to fix that.

I believe the spell you guys are talking about in the IC thread is Benign Transposition, which is a first level spell and it is indeed in spell compendium. It allows two willing targets of up to large size (one of which can be the caster) to instantaneously switch places. Range: Medium.
*Note: Willing target means no saving throw. it either happens or it doesn't, depending on whether the targets are willing. Unconscious creatures are always considered willing*

It's an integral part of this character's fighting style.

Also, there's a second spell called "BALEFUL Transposition" which is a level two variant of the same spell that drops the word 'willing' from the target description and allows a will save and SR to negate.

THAT spell I do not have.
