"I'm not going to leave it open for you to make changes continually every time a new book comes out. Since Ultimate Magic is so close to its release, I'll say that you can leave one or two of your spellslots/feat slots unfilled until you see what's on offer there. If you fill all of your slots now, that's the way they must stay. And you can leave no more than two open until Ultimate Magic comes out. If you leave two open but they turn out to be of the wrong level, well, tough luck. Sometimes you just have to take your best shot and take what you get, and this is one of those times."

OOC: Adding Ioun Torch to equipment (which will be done in the next hour) but he really doesn't use it unless he really has to.

You just HAVE to make it a sphere Ioun Stone. Then it would look like a little sun orbiting your head. That would be so COOL!

I've always liked the idea of Continual Flame or Continual Light on an dull grey Ioun Stone. I was disappointed that they remove the dead Ioun Stone in the transition from 3.0 to 3.5.

[sblock=LOL Leif only]I sit here laughing because your post used words like Move Silently and Hide. And opposed Spot checks. It was hard for me - still is to remember all the little difference between Pathfinder and 3.5. But one of the differences is Stealth vs Perception.

Actually a lot easier and you don't have to worry about making your hide check but then failing your move silently roll. So you get one shot and hope to roll high.

Simeon will stay where he is only if the giant looks like it isn't moving towards the group. If it starts that way then Simeon will start out ahead of it (and hope I roll high ). Stealth +11 (+13 Underground)

If the giant hunkers down (setting an ambush) then Simeon will spring one of his own first. Will wait till the group is about 50-60 feet from the giant then will take a shot at it with his bow.

You can play all this out if you want and I'll take it over either shooting or warning the others ahead of time.[/sblock]
