See, it's things like that that lead me to believe you're Psychogenically endowed... 'cause you're reading my mind!

That piece (firearms information) was the very first one in my list of items to talk to you about...

Jerry

Some folks say I am just half of that...Psycho

Just a note to announce that the first issue of THE PORTAL Magazine is complete and has been sent to the three main sites that expressed a willingness to host it, and future issues... Troll Lord Games... ICGD/Hekaforge Productions... and Dragonsfoot.org. I want to thank them for their willingness to do this as well.
Thank You!

Things you can find within the pages of Issue 1 are;

--- Things To Come for the Lejendary Adventure RPG by Gary Gygax
--- Lunar Calendar- 13 Months of Lejendary Earth by Gary Gygax
--- Three Extraordinary Items
--- Three beasts from the nether realms and beyond...
--- A Scurvy Crew- A pirate gang on the high seas... With decks detailed!
--- FICTION: Soul-Searching
--- ADVENTURE SCENARIO: Dancin’ in the Moonlight
--- SUBMISSION GUIDELINES: for Articles & Artwork

But as it takes time for their websites to be updated and the issue made available there, I really wanted to get a head start and get this out to you... while it’s still September! :) So I made a quick webpage that you can download it from, if you’re interested. When the hosts have got The Portal set up in their respective downloads sections, I’ll take this page down.

The .pdf is 1.35 MB, 47 pages in length and can be downloaded at the page below:

THE PORTAL Magazine, ISSUE 1

I sincerely hope you enjoy it, and Feedback is welcome and desired!

Best Regards,
Jerry

Good show!

I happen to know that Chris Clark is preparing a series of short scenarios for Portals Magazine. Each has a stand-alone adventure included, but in toto these vignettes are such that they can be conjoined to form a campaign base setting that can be inserted into virtually any FRPG world, just as the LA game information can be converted with relative ease to another system if so desired.

Cheers,
Gary

Yeppers!
And after going through the first scenario, I'm looking forward to the rest coming in as well... :D

To all who've downloaded Issue 1 already, and especially those that sent feedback, I muchly appreciate it! To the silent ones, I do hope you enjoyed it...

Have already begun piecing together material for Issue 2. But be it known, as was mentioned in the guidelines, we are accepting submissions for LA (and/or generic) RPG material, for any who are so inclined to participate! Hope to hear from ya...

Best Regards,
Jerry

Jerry, FWIW, I have done a developmental editing on Chris' initial module for Portals Magazine. I don't know if he plans to pass that along or not.

Cheers,
Gary
