D&D General Let's celebrate D&D having things we don't like! (+)

Not a fan of halflings. They seem extraneous as a race and their characterisation is pretty inconsistent. However, the halfling art in the 2024 PHB is good.

I prefer the spelless ranger. That being said, I’m glad rangers got a 4th subclass and the Fey wanderer does a good job of delivering on the archetype.

Man, the sarcasm and complaining are very thick for a + thread.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the point of the thread was to try to see some kind of silver lining about the things you don't like, or to understand how they might appeal to people who are not you? Or is it really just supposed to be a list of things you hate with (at best) a sarcastic "I love it" tacked on?

We love + threads.

A friend of mine adores rabbits and bunnies. She uses them in all sorts of aesthetic places. So the inclusion of Harengon is a huge plus for her. (She and her husband have played in an all-Harengon game drawing inspiration from Br'er Rabbit and, IIRC, the works of Beatrix Potter.) Since I don't dislike Harengon I cannot really use them as an example of what the thread asks for, but I certainly would not personally feel any emotion, positive or negative, if Harengon were removed, other than on behalf of those whom I know enjoy them.
I also like the idea of running D&D Watership Down.

But, you know, actually like. In this thread news, I'm glad the bastion rules allow players to get creative in the DMs world for those tables in favor of more collaborative worldbuilding.

All Hail Encumbrance Rules!
Yea for tracking each arrow you shoot and how much it weighs. It's awesome that you can use different weights for each type of metal coin. It's awesome that you can say to the party that just slayed the epic dragon on top of it's horde and say, sorry, you can't carry away all those coins!
