Fang XI smacks Golgatha with his tail (rolled 51) for 41-5=36 points of damage. Golgatha manages to stay upright (29 vs. 43 Strength check), but is down to 203 HP remaining.

Nothing exciting happens.

Do you actually mean Hover? Remember the little tidbit about gathering momentum.

I2K is right. Golgatha can snap out of hover mode and fly in a looping semi-circle to that spot and still breathe, but then he needs to pick a current flying direction (north or south).

If he wanted to stay in hover mode, he would need to spend two move actions (one momentum MEA, one actual movement) to get to that spot.

Ah right - I'm not sure if he has the turn radius needed to make that without hitting the spell effect to the north, which is why I went to hover. If there's room, he'll loop south in normal movement to get there and then breathe.

Fang does not dodge (32 Ref save), takes 104 damage, and survives (40 Fort save). The damage does get him to stop chanting, however. He has 341 hp left.
