Nearby me there is North Druid Hills. I recall once one of my friends claimed he was going out into the woods to consult with the North Druid. I think he was actually just taking a smoke break.
well okay i'm in England so theres plenty about.. but the one that sticks out like a sore thumb around here is: Gallowstree Common

the most notable local locale however is Chapel Row ~ although not really worth mentioning by merit of its name (and therefor somewhat off topic) it is however home to the curiously named Blade Bone Pub, which sports a 4' long solid gold axeblade hanging outside above the door, which bears a distinct resemblance to a shoulderblade..
If it didn't have too many real-world connotations for your group, bluegrass would be a cool geographical feature. And they call the Iron Range in Minnesota the Arrowhead sometimes, which I think is a pretty good name for a region.
