Living Greyhawk Journal [not] Cancelled

What's happening is that we're trying to find an adequate balance of content between Dungeon and Polyhedron that's pleasing to the most readers. In doing so, I decided to shift the LGJ content that was slated for #102 to #103.
Thanks for posting this alarmist thread title though, Jay. Much appreciated.

I imagine my thoughts will just be dismissed as coming from one of the bashers....
But perhaps your tone of response did you more harm than anything Jay said.
Just for your consideration or rejection, as you prefer.
(And here I am, received a Dragon renewal notice yesterday, trying to decide between paying for a magazine I like and not send my cash to people I feel were quite rude to me and others)

I think I'll let my overall behavior on these boards speaks for itself. I think most posters know that I'll shoot straight and honest, and seldom lose my temper. On the other hand, even I can be pushed too far, and of late all of the nastiness pointed our direction has been a little tough to handle. We're dealing with it by trying to make changes to the magazine to please the largest number of readers, but I'm not perfect and sometimes, when pushed, I push back.
I know Jay personally and thought he would have afforded me more respect than to post a purposely alarmist thread title simply to bait me. I guess I was wrong about that, as his above post clearly suggests.
I'm off to Origins. Hopefully to get insulted to my face as opposed to at great distance. See you all there.

Monthly: YES! ... Alternating monthly content: YES! ... Minigames: YES! ... Suscriber bonus adventures: YES! ... Adventure Path: YES! ... Incursion: YES!
IMNSHO, Erik & Chris et al continue to publish the best bang for my gaming buck, only now it's every month. I really get tired of all the whiners but I usually stay out of those threads because I can only take so much browbeating and rehashing the same ol' same ol'.
This thread, however, has gotten my goat. Simply put, other Jay/Emirikol, this was a grade school tactic and you should be ashamed, especially if you know Chris personally. Reading your [original] thread title, I really thought LGJ had been canceled. Jeez, grow up already. I don't even know any of the Dungeon/Poly guys at all and I'm p!$$ed for them.

Alright, time to clear some things up.
First, I feel I have a right to express my disappointment that Greyhawkers have been shafted by the absolute absence of covervage for the magazine(s) that they bought and paid for. I understand the difficulties of editing and planning in advance and that it's not always possible to warn people in print that they wouldn't get LGJ for a few issues, but at least try to get ahead of the game online
Second, I have a great deal of respect for you Erik, and I regret my post title, which I promptly changed after realizing that it was so poorly planned.
Lastly, the folks at Poly and Dungeon have always been very open to the suggestions made by their subscribers, and I appreciate that.
Enjoy Origins. I wish I could be there.

Lets not bash Erik, he is one of the good guys. I too was getting realy frustrated with the attitude of Paizo for awhile, but I must say that Erik through his many posts on these boards has helped restore my faith in the company and its personel. Thanks Erik on the good work and good luck in finding the right balance between Dungeon and Poly.

Hey Erik, first off have a great time at Origins, one of these years I'll actually make to one of these big cons like Origins or Gen Con.
Just a quick question about the LGJ, a long, long time ago you mentioned that you might publish a map of Rel Astra, are there any plans to do so and if there are when do you think that map would be out? Just curious.
