Logic question with Vader/ Anikin (EP 3 spoiler)

Except that he says both that Plagus apprentice(which me may or may not have been) learned EVERYTHING. So, but that telling, if Palpy is the apprentice, then yes he knows.

HOWEVER, he then tells Anakin that no, he doesn't know how, but he will try to find out.

And really...its Palpatine. You can't trust a word that comes out of his mouth.

Very true. Its possible that Palpatine is the Apprentice of Plagus' Apprentice. Who knows really.

It wouldnt make any sense for Palpatine to come right out and say "I'm plagus' apprentice, i can keep padme alive" because Anakin would never go for that. He'd demand that he be taught the power right then and there.

If you mean "Why doesn't Qui-Gon show up at the end of Jedi", that's easy. The ones who do show up are all connected to Luke: Obi-Wan and Yoda were his mentors, and Anakin was his father. Luke doesn't have any connection to Qui-Gon.
In the begining of the "Hier to the Empire" trilogy, Luke tries to contact Obi Wan and is unable. Its suggested that Force Ghost can only stay apart of the natural cycle of the force for a limited time. Of course this isnt considered cannon so...YMMV. :)

Lucas lies as much as the emperor. His story and reasons change with each movie. Anyone remember the arguments between empire and jedi whether Vader was lying?
How much truth can you get out of a man who erases out the handguns out of E.T.
Oh the FBI has walkie talkies guess we got fly away.....
Edit begins.....
Lucas lies as much as the emperor. Depending on when where and by who he has been interviewed his story and number of films change. He never mention Hero of Thousand faces or Campbell until Jospeh Campbell started using Star Wars to point out the similiarity of stories between cultrues and ages.

Speaking of arguements. Some many logic problems occur in the Star Wars universe because GL was making it up as he went. Which would then cause endless arguements among the fans about various points and trying to make sense out simple mistakes or lines/scenes who meaning changed with the next movie.

Ok You got me with E.T. I occasionally get them mixed up Since in the eighties they appeared to be attached to the hip.

...what does this have to do with Lucas...?

Ok, at the end of SITH, Yoda says Qui-gon has learned to live within the force and he would teach Obi-wan and Yoda how to do it. This explains how Yoda and Obi-wan appear as ghosts at the end of JEDI, but why would Anikin/ Vader be able to do that if he was not taught to "live within the force".? :\ He became a ghost as well.
Qui-Gonn worked it out for himself. Why not Anakin? Especially after seeing Obiwan do it right in front of him?

Its implied that Palpatine knew a method to create life. He "implies" his master was able to do it. So we can assume he learned how, or at least knew the method.

Its possible Palpatine knew how to become a Sith Ghost...........actually I hav eno idea where i'm going with this particular thought except that I dont see why Vader couldnt have trained himself in it one way or another.

My thinking was that Palpatine lied to Anikan. He said Plagueis's apprentice learned all the he knew then killed him in his sleep, he let it imply that he was the apprentice, and when Anikan discovered he was sith, that further lead down that path of thinking.

Another lie could be he actually was Plagueis's apprentice but never learned that ability, and killed him for not teaching it. Telling Anikan that he knew that ability and then later when he turns him tells him we will figure it out together.
