Looking for a twisted BBGG CR 10

Blightersbane

First Post
I am in the market for a large group (#?) of BTGG (big tough good guys) about 10th level, to give a 5 member party hell. They can be of any good align and will have the magics & $$ of a equal level PC, all books are open. A little info on the players party, the group is gestalt 8th lvl

1) Human 8 Paladin of Tyrrany (Hextor worshipper) - 8 Hexblade
2) Elf 6 Ranger/ 2 Arcane Archer - 8th Warmage
3) Human 8th Psychic Warrior - 2 Fighter / 6th Monk
4) LA +0 1/4 Fiend 8th Warlock - 5th Rogue / 3 Assassin
5) 2 Kensai / 6 Soulblade - 2 Ranger / 6 fighter

I'm looking for a group of good doers to challenge the group, maybe a group of say about 8 + members any build roughdrafts / outlines much appreciated

How about a 10th level assimar paladin, a 10th level human vow of poverty monk, a monadic deva with some fighter levels, and a LG dwarf cleric. Have them backed up by 8 man-at-arms(3rd or 4th level fighters).

You want to put eight 10th lvl NPCs up against five 8th lvl PCs? Even if the PCs are gestalt characters, you know this'll be an automatic TPK, right?

Im looking for something like a CR 10.
A few higher up's and some buffed up underlings.
I add +1 or +2 CR for gestalt campaigns.

Remember that giving them NPC's PC wealth would 1) give your players lots of lewt, 2) probably be worth a CR bump in and of itself.

My vote: a group of mid-ish lvl paladins(and since I'm assuming your PC's are evil) gratuitous use of smite evil + holy melee and ranged weapons and frost/flame/shock ammo and support low lvl sorcs for magic missle flurries.
5th lvl paladin's get smite evil twice, stack a bunch of those on plus a handful of 1-3rd lvl ranged support sorc's.
How many 5th lvl npc's == a CR 10 encounter ?

Here's a fun one for spellcasting insanity:

Human Wizard 4/Cleric 4/Mystic Theurge 2
Practiced Spellcaster in both Wizard and Cleric

Can also used Sorcerer and Favored Soul if you wanted it to be only dependant on Charisma, (and then possibly switch the race to Aasimar for the bonus).

But this allows a character to be a "gestalt" caster, as he'll cast as a 10th Wizard and a 10th Cleric. Then if there's the cash to be had, not certain how much a 10th level NPC gets, but you can deck him out in Mythril Full-plate and Mythril large steel shield for no ASF, and some pretty decent AC for an arcane caster. The only low point is the lack of HP, but if you have him just sit more toward the back and throw spells at the party, and heal/buff, you shouldn't have that much of an issue with him. I used one similar in a campaign as the BBEG, and the party charged at the cleric, only to get blasted in the face with a 10d6 fireball. Twas wonderful. :D

The Sudden Metamagic feats will probably be the feats of choice, as a suddenly empowered fireball or suddenly maximized CCW could turn the tide of battle. Fun character, ;)

I like that, but I'd make the VoP monk a svirfneblin, and work in a treant druid if at all possible.

At least, that's essentially what I did in a game I wrote.

How do you get no ASF from that? Mithral only reduces ASF by 5 or 10% and full plate has an ASF higher than that?
