Looking for some non-core bow feats

They have a very hard time getting through DR. Not to mention any lowly wizard with Protection from Arrows cast.

Same thing, since protection from arrows provides DR.

Clever archers keep actual magical arrows in reserve for when they meet creatures with DR, so they don't have to rely on greater magic weapon (if they can even get access to it) when the chips are down. But in general, yes, it is a problem that ammunition is strangely rare in the treasure tables, and gets used up.

Correct, but the statement was that an archer didn't have the dependency on magic. I was just commenting that it wasn't entirely true.

No, the statement was made that a true archer doesn't have a magical achilles heel. The achilles heel being Buff spells that can be dispelled, refused by a god, or not prepared without sufficient rest or with the possession of a clerical focus. It doesn't mean the cleric cannot be an effective archer, or even on a consistent basis.

But it is an achilles heel that can be exploited, and as a result anything the clerical archer accomplishes is done so with an asterisk.
