You know I thought I was on to something with the name DHARMA and the numbers with the letter corresponding to the numbers but it falls apart after A or R. I want to put it out there for other though.

D= 4
H= 8
A= 1

now if the next letter was E you would get a 5 to make 15 or if R was the 3rd letter in the word 18 -3 would be 15 as well. Ahh mindless ramblings.

I thought it was good and interesting to see this show focus on what was happening from another point of view. The dialogue revealed a lot. I think we know where walt is, on the other side of the island, we also know for sure that there are people on that other side of the island (and they're scary). We know somewhat of to why the guy was in the bunker.

I love the slow pacing of the show. It's only been 34 days and but it feels like theyve been there for months.

The Others are scary?? They had boards with nails in them, they didn't look at all scarey to me. They seemed worse when they were on the boat at end of last season assuming these are the same people.

What did the dialogue actually reveal? Bunker man is waiting for the one (he's like Zathras from B5). He knows of the illness.

I thought they said 44 days.

The thing that really bugged me about this episode was that I felt like we'd already seen this story before. Wasn't the last Michael flashback all about "well, since when have you been a father to him?" It had a little bit more than that, but I felt like we'd already been hit with that once. Do something different.

Apparently, this episode was originally supposed to be Sawyer-centric, but it got changed.

Other than that, I didn't really have any problems with it.

Don't recall hearing "Jack, Jack" last week, but I've heard others say they did.

She did, and if you had captions on, you'd have seen it, too. It was quieter in the previous shots, though.

Yep, a filler show but I liked it. The others, them, it, us, we...too many ways to take those in the realtionship the the people on the island.

Desmond looks to be a human fail-safe for the security system, which looks like it is on an automatic 108 hours (?) rotation. Which makes me think there are other stations on the island too. The illiness...zombee stuff!

Kate and her candy bars, what will you do for a Kondike...

Still say there is a freaking city on that island, the shark with freaking laser beams, Dr Evil topical resort hideout I say.

Re-use 10 minutes of footage from the prior week's episode.

Let's all hope that doesn't become popular.

I just checked my Tivo and sure enough, the symbol IS there on the shark.
I like little things hidden in shows for comedy, or nice touches.
But I think this show is over-doing it.
There's no way all these little things can be important, and if they ARE important, then theyre way too hidden.

Tune in next week, cuz maybe something happens. (Or maybe the clip from the next epsiode that they show us is the very end of the episode, and we will have to wait two weeks.)

I think the People holding Jin aren't others but the people from the rear section of the plane. Maybe they have gone all Lord of the flies on us. The girl in the pit from the preview is the one who talked to jack in the bar isn't she.

Without a strong leader like jack or a psycho one maybe the rear section has lost it. (Forgive the pun)
