Interesting but not terribly exciting. Locke was the best part of the episode with his story about the dog and that smile.

could anyone really make out what the whispering was saying? Sounded like "Don't ever come back around" to me.

What do you think about the Sawyer and Jack's dad conneciton? Too much coincidence or good plot device?

Loved it. How he was set up, how things turned out, the whole bedroom episode... OK, I'm just about ready to forgive Sawyer anything after that. That'd screw anyone up.

Nice to hear the whispering again, and even cooler that Sawyer talked to Sayid about it. That probably means it's not Sayid's delusion.

Again, Locke was just too cool.

What he said was what Sawyer was hearing in the jungle, or very close to it. Something like 'it'll all come back around'. TIVOists, tell us!

One thing I didn't quite get... was the guy Sawyer shot actually the original Sawyer who screwed up his life? It sounded like maybe he wasn't, but I didn't hear the conversation all that well....

The whole thing was a setup. It wasn't the real "sawyer." The guy who gave Sawyer the info, Hibbs I think his name was, set Sawyer up. That guy Sawyer killed just owed Hibbs money. Hibbs used Sawyer to do his dirty work. That's what the guy was saying after Sawyer shot him. And then he said "It'll come back around," which is what Sawyer heard being whispered in the jungle.

It was not the same guy. Sawyer (the island one) was set up by Robert Patrick's character to shoot a guy who owe him (RP's character) money.
