Lost - Jack = Paladin/Sawyer = Rogue

While watching the latest episode of Lost, I really paid attention to the interaction between Jack and Sawyer. It's funny because you can equate them to a Lawful "Stupid" Paladin and a Rogue.

Sawyer is a jerk but he's not a total @$$. But when he's around Jack he really turns it on because he knows it will tick off Jack.

Jack, on the other hand, is a nice guy but when he's around Sawyer, he acts very holier than thou and treats Sawyer like he's not worth his time to even talk to him.

I love their interaction, I just never really analyzed it like this before.

Anyone else see this? Or am I just reading too much into it?

I think Sawyer is a bad, self hating, mean motherf---.

Jack and Sawyer feed off each other. I think Jack will become his redeemer at some point.

I think Sawyer is self hating and takes it out on everyone else.. Rogue might be a good description for him. As far as Jack and paladin... I am not sure he is lawful good, though he fancies himself that way. I think there will be an episode that invovles these two and it will end in a slightly different attitude towards each other (sawyer wouldn't do too much to show it)

Jack more Cleric than Paladin, he does not go out fighting for right but he does have that holier than thou thing where Sawyer and sometimes Kate is concerned. Sawyer is rogue in so many ways.

Kate is a rogue/ranger
Boone a fighter/ranger
Sayid is a barbarrian
Micheal is a fighter
Hurley is a wizard
Micheal's son is a psion

I see Sayiid as more of a barbarian/ranger. He's too smart to be a simple barbarian but he does have some "anger managemenr issues."

Oh, and add ranger to Locke as well. Druid may live well in the jungle/forest, but he can track like no ones business.

Cleric is a good description but he tries to help people, is good at healing, is a natural leader and gets impatient quickly with those that don't see things his way, which I think is more like a Paladin.

For Locke being a ranger, I can see it, I think he is 'speaking' to the island on some level too.

Kate may be a Ranger/Rogue, but she's got the highest ranged attack bonus on the island, I'd bet.
