Elise will adjust forward again putting herself in harms way in an attempt to fell the rest of the monsters with a color spray. Shield your eyes! However, the mindless nature of the large insects means they are unaffected by the dazzling lights.
As the thing engages him he drops his bow and draws a longsword but as the poison enters Ces’s body he is thrown off balance and completely misses the creature. Ces takes 1 Dex damage from Poison
Krit also drops his bow and rapidly pulls his rapier, stabbing with it in one fluid motion. His attack is succesful and skewers the centipede, killing it.
Round 3
Gilanthus
Centipedes (MC3 - 4 smaller) (MC1,2,5 dead)
->Elise
Cesurius 2 damage, -1 Dex, Fort Save
Krit
Gilanthus launches an arrow at the back centipede but his aim is wide and the arrow shatters against the rocks.
The last centipede moves directly up to Krit, and both centipedes try once more to bite each of the two adventurers. The first narrowly misses Krit and the second bites Cesurius again on his other leg (1 Damage). A familiar burning sensation begins to flow out from the source of the wound (Fort Save).
Elise and then Cesurius is up!

Bah! Elise yells. Immune, immune, immune. She says as she scramble through her scroll case for a more appropriate spell. Pulling out her scroll of burning hands she hesitates before burning the costly spell.

ooc: Is the "hesitates before using" flavor, and you are using the scroll as your action? Or is it basically a delay to see if you need it?

Krit tries to stab the last remaining Centipede but almost loses his footing and misses.

The last remaining centipede bites at Krit, but the agile human steps neatly out of the way.

Elise will keep holding it, hoping that her friends will dispatch the last as easily as the first four.
