The impasse is quickly broken up by Brog and Maenor, who wade in to start the battle before the goblins can make finish their preparations. The remaining seven goblins scream in anger and charge into the fray.

OOC: Party automatically gets initiative due to Brog's and Maenor's charge. Looking for actions from the rest of the group.

Snorri yells out, "By Rogars good eye, guide me axe!" as he races towards the massing goblins. Gathering momentum, he moves in past Meanor and Brog. Raising his shield as he smashes headlong into the fray, aiming for their back line.

OOC: ok still learning PF ~if I've read this right, I do not get an attack if my over-run is successful ( uses my standard action), but I do if the opponent avoids the over-run since it doesnt require an attack? likewise, if I am wrong, and dont get an attack at all, I've left my narrative vague enough to handle both accounts :)

Kepli followed Snorri to where Brog and Maenor battled goblins. She moved alongside Maenor and engaged a goblin (even though she knew she probably shouldn't). She thrust forward with her spear but her attack was easily deflected.

"Argh! Foolish girl," she muttered to herself.

With a slump of his shoulders at the gruffness of the dwarfs response, Regar went quiet, muttering to himself and trailing behind the rest of the party. Looking at the goblins assembled ahead of him, he shrugged in an almost sulky manner and half heatedly threw an acid splash spell at one of the goblins. [roll0][roll1]. The screeching of the goblin was drowned out in Regars mind by a strong desire to go home along with a great deal of self criticism and doubt.

"You got cocky Regar! No-one wants to listen to a dummy like you, you know-it-all fool." Another flashback in his mind made him wince momentarily. A prank gone too far, a bad memory, heavy laughter in a smoke filled room, a choking sensation as he struggled to breathe, laughter turned to silence, turned to panicked shouting.

Snorri overruns one of the goblins, knocking him to the floor and making it fall prone onto its back. Kepli follows up with an attack of her own, but unfortunately she misses. Regar has better luck than Kepli, though his acid attack is not deadly enough to fell the goblin.

Caius Aurelius, Soldier of Amenthia

Caius grips his scythe tightly in one hand as he charges across the barracks. His boots splash through a puddle beside a small stalagmite and his tabard trails slightly behind his legs. His eyes narrow to ivory slits, he rushes between the bunks with no hint of emotion on his face.

At the last second before reaching a pair of goblins, one in the middle of helping the other to tighten some straps on her armor, the paladin plants his lead foot and spins to add a vicious momentum to his horizontal slash. The assisting goblin pulls the female back by a loose armor strap just in time. Though it is a difference of inches, it is enough to save the creature. She feels the scythe's blade part the air where her face had been. She looks down to see a lock of her greasy hair falling to the cavern floor.

With Caius missing, the frightened goblins gather their wits about them and attempt a counterattack, with the one that Brog had overrun attempting to get back onto his feet.

OOC: Snorri gets an attack of opportunity on GoblinA, as he gets back up.
