Nicked by the goblin he just trampled, the dwarf sweeps his weapon around his head as whirls himself around to position himself on the far side of the group between his two adversaries, facing back toward the center of the fray, a glint in his eye as he winks at Brog. "Ya accursed bugeaters best be bringing more an that, c'mere, let me axe cleanse the lot of ya!" he chides as he brings his axe down with full momentum on the goblin that flanked him.

Caius Aurelius, Soldier of Amenthia

The female goblin jerks her shoulder away from her male counterpart as if irritated by his pulling her back. She lunges at Caius, swiping with her crude dogslicer to take him out at the knee. He hears the voice of a drill instructor long ago, calling out instruction to the beat of a lone drum. Reflexively, Caius pivots to stand perpendicular to his assailant so the goblin's attack goes wide.

The other goblin leaps through the air with a shriek, menacing the paladin with his shoddy sword. Caius pulls the haft of his scythe up to crack the goblin across its ribs, knocking it off course. It lands a couple feet away and stands to menace him once more.

"Press the attack!" Caius calls out. "There aren't many of them left!" He steps in closer to the goblin female, holding the scythe in one hand and grasping the whitewashed wood behind the blade with his other. He thrusts downward and feels the curved blade pierce the crown of her skull. He keeps pushing through the meatier bits below until she is fully impaled lengthwise. With a grunt, he hefts her up in a gruesome display for her tribal brethren and then flicks her off to tumble though the air and bowl over her companion.
