Even the League was stymied by my cloaked orbital base. World governments forbid them to act because I held all the cards. My moment of vindication had arrived, and the United Nations was about to proclaim my base a sovereign nation, when they, also arrived. The aliens ruined everything! But I should point out that it was a while before they found my ingeniously hidden lair. The greatest nations on the planet fell before I did. So it hardly matters that for the moment I am forced to work with that glorified B-lister Dr. Destruction. Its just a temporary setback, before I achieve my true destiny.
