M3: Assassin's Knot (Patlin judging)

After finishing his breakfast Tenebrynn heads out too. As the group's 'foil' he really hasn't any idea what clues he should be following up on when the group isn't there. Perhaps after his visit with the Mayor he will see what Abraham is up to as he is the only one so far that leads anywhere.

Tenebrynn, please continue in your own thread, which I will update shortly.

Shall we assume the rest continue on to the tailor's after a leisurely breakfast?

Rinaldo finish his meal. He sees the others leaving the room, and only Rinaldo and his two companion seems to remain.

"I hope the tailor will have recovered from his night. Let's go now, if we want to see the Prince today."

Threading their way through the muddy road, scattered with dung, the party makes its way to the Ollie the tailors.

The building is easy to locate. It is a small wooden structure, only 20x20 feet. In the front
of the shop, illuminated by two large windows, is an assortment of clothing: eight caps, ten hats, fourteen cloaks, eight robes, four girdles, forty tunics, eight dresses and a wide variety
of undergarments for men and women. Everything is hung on pegs and racks for the customer to look at. A small bell above the door rings when a customer enters.

"I suppose it's only good form I go in first, clear things out for my 'employers'?" Eanos says, nodding to the door. Then he does just that, falling into "silent guard" mode as he enters.

Inside the cluttered shop a man sits slumped over his desk. It is the elf from the inn the prior evening. He appears to still be hung over. He has a scar on his left cheek and is missing three fingers from his left hand. He looks up blearily as you enter.

"Oh, hello. Come to buy some clothes?"

Rinaldo enters after Eanos and take a quick looks at the display. As the tailor ask him what was his business in his shop, he replies "Sure, I need two things. First, I am searching an outfit. I want to see the Prince Philip for business, but I don't have proper clothing. Maybe you have in stock something that I could use and that would ask only a few adjustment so I don't have to wait too much.

Second thing, yesterday, I meet the innkeeper. I think you were there. You must remember the vest he was wearing. I would like to have one like that one, but blue. I suppose you've made it for him, so it shouldn't be a problem to do one for me."

Ollie

Ollie gazes at Rinaldo. No glimmer of recognition comes to his bleary eyes.

"OK. Yes. Well. Meeting the prince, eh? I've got a few things. Let's see here....As for Abraham's vests, I've still got that pattern about. It would take about three days, but I can make it for you. How many do you want?"

Ollie shows Rinaldo several nice outfits, which could be tailored to fit him quite well. He thinks they are worth about 75 gps in a large city. Ollie asks 115 gps, and says he can have them ready in a couple hours, after Rinaldo is measured.

"How many vest I want? Have you already done more than one of them? I like the vest, but if everyone have one, I'll think about it. Is red or blue a popular color?" replies Rinaldo, while considering the outfits.

As he finally made his choice and asks for the price, he smiles at the tailor. "Master Ollie, that might be a good price for someone who isn't familiar with the price of such outfits, but you are talking to someone who is familiar. I was hoping to have both the vest and the outfit for 75 gp. That is a reasonnable price. And I suppose that you don't sell that much of these outfit in this town. If we were in teh capital city, I wouldn't say... everything cost more in the capital, as all the money is there..."

OOC: Rinaldo just try to negotiate... we can roleplay it without problem. It was something I liked to do in Africa, but it could take many post if we start :) You can roll it if you want too. Rinaldo is aiming for 85 gp, for the outfit and vest.
