M3: Assassin's Knot (Patlin judging)

[Manzanita]

They party exits Ollie's shop (which is building 20 on the map). They are already near the sea and as they walk South towards the docks they have a good view of Prince Phillip's tower jutting up from the waves on the small rocky island. To the East as they walk, they pass a temple of Delanor, the water god, evidently venerated in these parts. (this is building #3 on the map).

A large statue of Delanor stands just off the docks. A middle aged woman is polishing it. Several fishing boats are at anchor at the docks. There is also one warship and several smaller crafts. Down the nearest dock is a small building, gilded and well made, with an armed guard outside. This guards the water taxi that can take people to Phillip's island.

Eanos

"This looks like the place," Eanos says, then turns to Rinaldo and Ashnar. "Should I go make the arrangements as 'your man,' or just play menacing while you make them yourselves?"

 

[Velmont]

"Play the guard. I dunnot know how easy it is to gain access to the Prince, so I prefer to handle, if you don't mind."

Rinaldo walks up to the building where you can take the water taxi and find the one who seems responsible of it. "Sorry sir, I wanted to know. I would be interested to meet the Prince, and I wanted to know how to proceed. I suppose you are familiar with that. Oh, sorry, I am impolite. I present myself. Rinaldo di Senzio, exotic animal merchant, and here Ashnar, my partner, who is an animal trainers and ,y associate."

 

[Manzanita]

"Animal trainers and merchants, eh?" says the guard. "Well, you've come to the right place. Do you have any animals with you, here in town?"

 

[Velmont]

"Sadly, no. We have sold our last specimen a week ago. We are on our back to the jungle when I've heard of the Prince interest. I am here to meet him and see if what species he his searching for his collection. We surely could take special command for him."

 

[Manzanita]

"Oh." The guard nods expansively. "I can take you out there, then. He'd be very interested. Are you ready to go now?"

 

[Velmont]

"No, I wanted to know if it would be able to see him this afternoon. I have a few things to do, and I wouldn't like to present myself in my travelling clothes. You never have a second chance to make a first impression."

 

[Manzanita]

"Very well." says the guard. "Come back this afternoon."

 

[jkason]

"Not nearly as difficult as I'd have thought," Eanos says as they leave the taxi behind. "Back to the inn to see if we can get a better look at Abraham's vest, then, or have you other plans?"

 

[Velmont]

"No, I havn't anything else in thought for now. Let's go back to the Inn"
