"Neither do I. Surprising that it was so easy..."

(Did Ashnar find anything at the tailor's shop?)

Sorry. No. The higher end stuff is scarce, and tends to be in blue or purple. He could put in an order for a noble's outfit (effectively) at 75 gps, with Rinaldo's bargaining assistance.

The group returns to the Inn. It's about lunchtime & there are several groups of people there. At the round table is a company of guards, wearing the blue tunics engraved with three gold rings identifying them as members of the town guard. There are four today, three men and one male half orc. All carry sheathed longswords. Three wear chainmail. One man, who seems to be the leader, wears only leather.

Two farmers sit at the bar chatting and eating soup. Two fishermen sit at a square table speaking animatedly. One seems to be telling the other about a being attacked by giant crabs.

The midgit and his friend are at their usual table, eating silently as usual.

Abraham is behind the bar directing his staff, wearing his vest and apron as usual.

As the group enter the inn, Rinaldo quickly whispers to Eanos "Go to the bar, tells the Innkepper to come see me and take a chat with those farmers. When the innkeeper will come to us, don't lose him and his vest from sight."

Rinaldo scan the room and takes a table not too far form the bar. Rinaldo will make a sign to Ashnar to sit down at the table so the bar isn't be back to him. Then he will seat opposite of him, making sure he doesn't have the bar at his back either.

"Stay vigilent, I'll make sure we'll have an opportunity to see what we want." He whispers to Ashnar. "So, what do you suggest we try to sell to the Prince. Some rare birds or one of the colorfull lizards. Honestly, I would favor the bvirds, I hate the region where we get those lizards, too much insects in the air." Rinaldo tells normally, just as if he was continuiong his conversation.

For Manz.
[SBLOCK]OOC: My plan is simple, when the Innkeeper will be going back to his bar to prepare the order, Rinaldo will quickly untie his apron (using Sleight-of-Hand, so he doesn't guess Rinaldo did it). Everyone being around the Innkeeper, one will surely have a line of sight for the buttons, at least, it is how I try to positionnate the others.[/SBLOCK]

Eanos nods, then moves to the bar, taking a seat next to the farmers. He orders a drink, then motions for Abraham. When he acknowledges him, Eanos conveys the message.

"Pardon, Abraham, but Master Rinaldo would like a word again when you have a moment."

While he nods politely to the farmers, he doesn't go further than pleasant chit-chat least he get too involved and thus prove distracted from whatever Rinaldo has planned for the inn manager.

"Ah. Of course." Abraham says to Eanos. A moment later, he scoots around the bar and arrives at Rinaldo's table. "Master Rinaldo, what can I do for you?"

"I want two glasses of wine, for me and my associate. And I wanted to see talk to you just to thank you to have led us to your tailor, he's charming and do nice work." Rinaldo stands up, take a gold piece in his pouch and shakes the hands of the man, giving him the coin at the same time. "I think that show you how I'm please by your service. Keep it up."

Once the innkeeper finish his reply, Rinaldo will slowly sit down and once he got the chance, he will untie the innkeeper's apron.

Let's say DC 15. DR = 23. Well done!

Abraham thanks the merchant with a smile, and turns to head back to the bar. Oddly, his apron seems to come undone as he walks. He seems to think little of it, continuing to walk to the bar. He does lift the strings to inspect them, clearly revealing the bottom half of his vest.

Spot check for Eanos, Ashnar and Rinaldo DC 12

[sblock]The bottom button of his vest is missing![/sblock]

Spot=10

Eanos tries to catch sight of the vest, but the innkeep is angled just wrong, and he misses his opportunity. Hopefully, one of the others was more successful. He finishes his drink, nods politely to excuse himself from the farmers, and returns to Rinaldo and Ashnar.

Rinaldo didn't lost the Innkeeper form sight, but the occasion to see the front of teh vest didn't seem to happen. Rinaldo starts to wish that Eanos is able to see the vest. Just before going behind the bar, Abraham finally show the front to his vest to the table, and Rinaldo have just the time to see what he wanted (Spot: 14)

He looks back at Ashnar and continue his conversation "And think about that colorfull bird. You know, the red one with his rainbow tail. The man in town had six of them when we came see it the first time, and he had lost one we came back. I think the bird was dead from old age."

Eanos sits down, a bit long in the face from failing to notice the event he'd been set for.

"When you've gotten your fill, Master Rinaldo, should we head back out to check on your outfit and visit the Prince? I fear there's little more entertainment to be had here."
