M3: Assassin's Knot (Patlin judging)

"Why would it be one of us who do that. It can be anyone we want, even our brave Abraham." replies Rinaldo, smiling as his appearance shift to Abraham ones for a moment before taking back his appearance. "But it you who knows if it can wait or not."

"Well, see the lock to my room is currently sitting open from beneath. If we want to cover our trail and hide the fact that we were in there, we need to re-lock it. The only way we could figure that could be done was if someone went in through the staff room and locked it then back out through the staff room which can be locked from the outside." replies Tenebrynn.

"Hmmm... I think in that case it can't wait. I'll go close your trapdoor." Rinaldo takes his thieves' tool in his pack. "Someone want to add something before I go?"

[smallcaps]I'd love t' help ye but more feet never help with stealth. Good Luck, Rinaldo.[/smallcaps]

Mordik takes a quick glance at Rinaldo's Thieve's tools.
If they are not masterwork:[sblock] Mordik offers his masterwork lockpicks to be borrowed. [smallcaps]I'll be expectin 'em back.[/smallcaps] He adds.[/sblock]

Rinaldo takes the tools given by Mordik. "Nice tools. I've never thought to change mine. Those are a gift of my cousin. He's the one who taught me how to use them." He put back his tools in his pack. He waits one more moment to be sure everyone have said what they want before leaving the room. "Where should the trap lead again?"

OOC: Manz, maybe leave some time for other to reply. Rinaldo will leave the room and take the appearance of Abraham. He will then try to find the trap, following the instruction of his companion.

Rinaldo plans to enter the tunnels from Tenebrynn's room, lock the trapdoor behind him, move towards the staff quarters, climb the last ladder, pick the lock, and go through, hoping to lock it up again, and return to Tenebrynn's room? The others will wait in Tenebrynn's room?

OOC: Looks like that... hmmm, thinking of that, is the trap of teh staff room lock from the inside or the outside? I don't want to stay locked in teh tunnel.

"My room is at the north east corner of the Inn. It is above a 90 degree junction, with one path going South, and one going West. South heads towards the rooms of Rinaldo, Eanos, Ashnar and two others. West heads towards the rooms of Nurlan and Mordik, and the private quarters of the Inn's employees. Its the room beyond Nurlan's that had a lock on the outside of the corridor that we need to pass through. It cannot be accessed from the hidden corridor as the lock is on the other side.

Then the lock to my room is from underneath the trapdoor. Once you enter the trap door under the staff quarters you go down a ladder, travel East past the first ladder (that's Nurlan and Mordik's room) and up the second ladder in the corner." replies Tenebrynn.

OOC: Ok, if I understand, there is only one way to do it. Enter the employee's private quater, open the trap in it, enter the tunnel, go close Tenebrynn's trap and get out by the way I came. I'll do it like that.

Rinaldo is a brave man. He descends, locks the door, and leaves the group in silence. Let's try to move fast on this one, Velmont, to keep the others from getting too bored. Anyone else up for Parcheezi? Or how 'bout this one: Here on earth it is true, yesterday is always before today; but there is a place where yesterday always follows today. Where?

Rinaldo: [sblock]Do you assume a disguise? The trip through the tunnel is quiet. Arriving at the end of the tunnel, you climb the ladder into what is assumed to be a staff room. After a bit of work, the lock is picked. [/sblock]
