Ooc

I think there's been a misunderstanding? I, at least (and it looks like the others) were under the impression the door under the staff room could only be unlocked from the top (similarly, that we could only lock our own door from below). Since it meant Rinaldo would have to enter the staff room from the exposed hallway rather than the secret passage, we let him go alone so he could go under cover of disguise. If we can get to the room using the hidden tunnel, I'm not sure we'd make the same decision.

Or is it just me who got so confused by the which-side-the-door's-locked-from thing?

Sorry - you're exactly right. In that case, does Rinaldo assume the form of Abraham and try to go through the staff room door on the first floor? It is locked at night, by the way.

Orsal, how did you get that so quickly? Your turn.

Rinaldo will assume the disguise of Abraham. He find the staff room, pick the lock, enter it, find the trap, pick another lock. Enter the tunnel. Find Tenebrynn trap. Close it and lock it, come back, close the other trap, lock it. Close the staff door, lock it. Come back.

Rinaldo: [sblock]Rinaldo succeeds in picking the first lock. The door opens to a hallway. Rinaldo carries a candle for light, as it is quite dark otherwise. Directly ahead there is a door, and there is one to his left. The hallway turns to the right ahead. Rinaldo tries the door to the left, where, presumably, the trapdoor would lead. It is locked. He glances around. The hall and inn are quiet. He picks the lock. Opening the door, it creaks. Inside, he finds himself in a 15 feetsquare room. It is a bedroom. A form shifts on the bed and stands. It is none other than Abraham himself, dressed in a while flannel robe. "Ye gods!" he mutters, and jerks a sword out of his scabard, hanging on the bedpost.[/sblock]

What number goes next in the following sequence: 3,3,5,4,4,3,5,...?

Answer: 5
[sblock]This is the number of letters in each numeral? one(3), two(3), three(5), four(4), five(4), six(3), seven(5), eight[/sblock]

[SBLOCK]As he sees Abraham waking up, a sword in hand, the first thought of Rinaldo was I should knew it. Beginner's mistake.

"Why are you so nervous, Abraham? It's just you, don't you trust yourself? Don't you trust your conscience?"[/SBLOCK]

Rinaldo: [sblock]Rinaldo bluff roll, and you're going to need a high roll on this one...DR 10
Not good enough...

IC: Abraham shouts "Assassins! Glami! Help!" Abraham himself makes no attempt at attack, but stands his ground, holding his blade firmly.[/sblock]

The rest of the party hears a shout coming from where Rinaldo went. "Assassins! Glami! Help!"
