Rinaldo replies to the monk: "You say you're not made for that, but you've just guess what I have in mind when I suggested both group. I says you have more sense than you think, and it will be usefull."

Once everyone is prepare, Rinaldo says "Nurlan, you'll enter Three Rings first. We will arrive at least an hour later."

Eanos shy smile returns. "My thanks for the compliment, Rinaldo," he says. "Before we split, should we agree on where and when to meet? How do we intend to compare notes without drawing attention to our fellowship?"

"I wonder if we might be served by having a third party head into town. Perhaps a lone individual who can try to play an antagonistic role. Some we encounter may not be open with either an entertainer or an animal trainer. Someone who quietly voiced discontent with these new arrivals might hear things the others do not. If you are amenable to it, I will take on this role and head for Three Rings now and get set up in the inn. We can meet late at night in our rooms there as there is only the one inn." suggests Tenebrynn.

Rinaldo fell silent for a moment and looks a Tenebrynn. "I've never liked the idea of sending someone alone. But you got a point here, and I think for now, it is safe enough. What I suggest, it is that. Nurlan and Mordik arrive first, Nurlan tries to have a deal to make some entertainment at the Inn and start to investigate for the string. About half an hour later, Tenebrynn arrive at the Inn. He will try to learn more on who could have done this. Try to be discreet on that one, and don't forget that the news hasn't spread yet. Finally about an hour or two after that, I'll arrive with Ashnar and Eanos. On the way, we'll try to find some rangers, herders or any other animals specialist. We'll try to learn about that hair, and try to hide our true intention by finding what Prince Philip might be seeking presently and things like that."

"That sounds good. I'll inquire about musicians around town -- I'm just a singer, I like to perform with an instrumentalist or two, so I have an excellent excuse for trying to meet some.

"Now keep in mind that I have seen the two of you work a room and I'm not too good at that stuff. I still think it is valid for me to try and present a third perspective to the task. Given that we will all be in the same inn, I don't believe there is much danger in having three groups." replies Tenebrynn a little trepidatious about performing in the social arena.

Eanos leans on his quarterstaff, quirking up his face a moment before saying, "You know, given that Mordik and I are meant to be guards, but that we've noticably less combat experience than the rest of you, we might be able to set up Tenebrynn's position as a spoiler and present ourselves as a more credible threat to snoops--tarnish the shine of inexperience, as it were--if Tenebrynn were to, say, pick a fight with one or both of us?"

Rinaldo follows the group as they all disembark from the ship. Once back on the solid ground, he asks to his empoyeers "Is there any rangers or trainers that could identify the hair we found?"

Medius shouts back. "Sure, bring it up to Monemvassia with you when you report. I'll try to have an expert available. Or Show it to Prince Phillip in Three Rings. He'd probably be able to tell you."

Looks like you're almost ready. Give me the thumbs up when you're finished planning.

It looks like Tenebrynn is going in first. Then Nurlan and Mordik. Then Rinaldo, Eanos and Ashnar. How long will the second and third groups wait before entering? Those waiting will be on a dark road in the scattered farmland north of town.

Let us assume it is near the autumnal equinox. The sun rises at approximately 7 am, and sets approximately 7 pm. By the time party reaches the outskirts of town, it is already about 7:30.

Eanos looks up at the sun, then says to the gathered, "Given the time of day and the time it's like to take for us to get there, perhaps we should space out by the half-hour rather than the several hours Rinaldo first suggested." He brings his eyes back down to look at his companions, and quirks a grin. "While surely I'll prove a puissant guard, I'd rather hold off testing that against whatever the night holds for at least long enough for a good drink at the inn."[/color

[OOC: I totally spaced on the time of day. I'm hoping it's not too meta-game to claim Eanos would be more likely to notice?]
