Howdy Folks.
I've been reading with an inordinate amount of interest the various threads about mapping for RPG's here. They've all got me jazzed up to make maps now, and I already have some of the tools I'll need to do this.
My Question(s) are these...
1) I have Corel Draw 11, Microsoft Publisher 2003, Adobe Acrobat 5 and assorted other related tools at my disposal for creating images, sheets and other gaming related product. Should I even invest in something like CC2 to create maps, or can I get by with the aforementioned tools?
2) Does anyone know of a good freeware CAD package that is available? I've heard enough people say that CC2 is CAD-like so mayhaps I can use something free and be able to get the same results that CC2 offers. (I know there's a learning curve to CAD, but I learned Adobe's tools on my own, so I am trainable
)
If anyone can offer any help, I would truly appreciate it!
Thank thee kindly!
-Mike
