I think if you don’t follow casting news it’s probably still a secret, so…
Sentry
Yeah, it’s pretty obvious in the trailer, though it’d be funny if they were faking us out for Graviton or someone. He’d do too - the Suicide Squad formula is that your street level team has to face off with an overwhelming threat.

I'm not sure that's a good formula...

I would be very excited to see this in theatre soon were it not that I had decided I was not going to see all the Marvel movies in theatre anymore. It looks amazing.

Me too. Even moreso; I've decided that I don't want to see hardly ANY of the Marvel movies in theatre anymore. But this is one of the few that--so far--I think might be worth making an exception for.

Oh man, I'm on the exact opposite side of the spectrum. IF I see any future Marvel movies it will only be in theaters. They don't have enough of a pull for me to watch them at home.

Well, that's true too. The ones that I won't see in theatres, I don't intend to see at all unless I get very unexpected feedback that they're quite a bit better than expected.

It's sad to me as a long time nerd culture fan to think that I'm actually quite discriminating now in what I'll pay attention to from Marvel or Star Wars, but too much of what both are doing simply don't interest me much.

Of course, I also have a cinephile wife who's always trying to get me to see movies. I used to like going with her, but I don't enjoy much anymore. But I'm willing to take a chance on stuff for her sake so she can have her movie date experience sometimes. It would seem weird for her to go see a Marvel movie without me because she wants to see it and I don't, but realistically... that's happened already and probably will again. I'll give Thunderbolts a chance, more for her sake than because I'm actually really excited about it.

Is it?

Or is it The Void? May not make a difference though depending on how you define it.

I am not that familiar with Sentry but I think I would define his split personality to be significant enough to say that the proper semantics are that The Void is the villain and not Sentry.
