Maximum # of spells cast in a round?

Just our of curiousity, what's the maximum # of spells a character could cast in one round?

You bring in haste, time stop, and quickened spell... it can get pretty hairy, no? Hasted, you can cast two time stops for 10 rounds of spells. I know there's argument on this, but if haste works while you're timestopped, you could cast 20 spells, then 1 quickened spell... so 21?

Bring in epic rules and you can cast more then one quickened spell in a round, so you can get really high number per round using that.
 



Well with a staff of time stop you could time stop, then round 2 ready an action to time stop as soon as the time stop expires, thereby extending the time stop. You'd get 50 rounds of actions, if you allow hastes, during this time frame a extended/extended haste will last the duration so 100 spells during the time stop,+50 quickened spells,+1 hasted spell and 1 quicked spell the round you initially cast time stop so. A minimum of 152 spells not including the time stops.
 



What I want to do is see someone do it WITHOUT time stop.

Why? because Time stop gives you several rounds' worth of actions - and that's not really one "round" in my opinion. Otherwise, you're going to be casting hundreds of spells.

The most without Time Stop I can see is four:

1. Cast spell as a std. action
2. Cast spell as a partial action due to haste
3. Casting a quickened spell
4. Spell activated as part of a contingency with another spell cast as the trigger.

Any other loopholes I'm missing?
 

Imbue with spell ability (PH) would let your familiar (presuming an appropriate familiar--one that is able to or high enough level to speak) cast two spells if it were sharing Haste with you.

Bringing in Tome and Blood, you could either let it use your lesser metamagic feat rod of Quicken Spell or use Imbue Familiar with Spell ability so that it can get a quickened spell off as well which could bring the total up to 7.

If you used Chain contingency, you could probably bring it up to 8.

And if you gave your familiar a separate contingency with Imbue Familiar with spell ability, you could bring it up to 9.
