Try to get on a treatment with a new drug called Fuzeon, a viral fusion inhibitor. I was involved in the initial research at the company that developed it (www.trimeris.com) and it is an extremely promising medicine. It has almost no side effects and has been successful in reducing viral loads to undetectable levels.
It is still quite expensive and may be hard to get since it was only recently approved by the FDA and they are still ramping up production. See if your doctor can get you in the treatment program even for a short period to reduce your viral load.
