Yeh thanks, I remembered at about 2 am this morning. I shouldnt be dreaming of d&d tactics, should I?

That's not too bad, I once dreamed that me and my players were filming the encounter I was planning on location in Wellspring, and that the Grell we had hired to play the part of well Grell were not being cooperative, so dreaming about tactics is, not bad.

Janus's blast pushes one of the defenders away, but the other stands firm against it.

The statue that just got blinded by Murphy stares back and forth in confusion, trying to figure out where he went.

Quick update because I have to go to bed:

Even with the +3, Janus hits the one at J9 but not the one at J8. Where are you pushing it to exactly? (I believe you can go diagonal as well as straight back.) It's now taken 19 damage - can't recall if that's bloodied or not, but it's within a few hp of it at least. (Don't have the stats handy.)

Iron Defender 4 holds its action. (Metagaming: I'm just having it wait until just before the other defenders, so that I can do them all at once instead of having to remember to take 1 more turn after Janus goes.)

Larinza's turn.

Ok, sorry bout that chief. This is what happens when you get dragged out of the house to do grocery shopping, before you have had a chance for a 2nd coffee, whilst in the middle of writing your post.

You forget the little things.

I will say that it gets pushed back towards I10 but gets stopped by the column and stays where it is. Nice and clumped together.
I believe I can do that with forced movement.

It's pretty important for me to know where ID1 before I choose my action.

Also, is it possible to shift?

[sblock=JoeNotCharles ooc note]

Yeah in my original post I did hunter's quarry, but had to go back and re-edit it because I am dazed (only one action), and my last HQ was on the thing that died. So no HQ damage on that creature ((although I do swear I said it was the one you specified in my post)).

Also, since you are doing the maps often, can you please turn the prone tokens sideways to denote such? Makes it much easier to track for us :)

thank you and don't forget to add the 3 hp back to him ;)

The columns don't fill their squares, just turn them into difficult terrain (they're actually 4 foot high statues). Since forced movement ignores difficult terrain your Thunderwave will push him right back into that square.

If it actually had been a wall or a pillar that fills the whole square, you could have done that though.

ID1 is now at I10.

Every square aroud you is difficult terrain, so I'm afraid you can't shift unless you have an ability that lets you shift 2 or more.

[sblock=Status Update]
Balth's attack shouldn't have done HQ damage, so ID3 has only taken 19 damage.

Janus's attack pushed ID1 into I10, on top of a statue.

H9 and I9 are no longer difficult terrain since Janus's turn has ended.

Larinza's turn!

23 - Balth (22/22 hp, dazed (save ends))
23 - Murphy (17/26 hp, cursed Iron Defender 1 and Iron Defender 4, concealed until end of next turn)
22 - Clay Scout at J14 (38 damage)
22 - Iron Defender 1 at J9 (11 damage, marked by Shorrin)
19 - Iron Defender 2 at L8 (10 damage, marked by Shorrin)
16 - Iron Defender 3 at J8 (19 damage, marked by Shorrin)
13 - Janus (14/22 hp, +3 to attack and damage on next attack vs Iron Defender 3, expires at end of Larinza's turn)
8 - Iron Defender 4 at M6 (14 damage, can't see Murphy until start of Murphy's next turn)
6 - Larinza (24/24 hp, +2 Init to all allies in LOS within 10 squares, allies in LOS who spend an action point regain 4 hp)
4 - Shorrin (29/33 hp)
