So this big Tyranny of Dragons thing they have been promoting is only two adventures.

They do not sound interesting to me in the least, but I hope they will be farming out other adventure material to KP and other high quality adventure publishers (I personally have not felt there would be any kind of open license for 5e since the get-go)

Looks like the starter is pre-gens. Yuck. But levels 1-5 is not so bad I reckon. I will still pick it up to gauge whetherI wanna spend $120 Prime on the corebooks.

Both the 3.5 books were 320p IIRC?

Also the 2e Monstrous Manual is nearly 400 pages.

My purchase of the Starter Set depends entirely on whether it will have character creation rules or not. The PHB is a sure buy, unless early reviews convince me otherwise.
