New Feat:
Metamagic Mastery
Prerequisites: Any other 3 metamagic feats.
Benefits: When Calculating the total Level modifier when using metamagic feats, the spell caster reduces the effective total by one (-1).
Example: Modifying Fireball with 'Still Spell' and 'Silent Spell' would normaly bump fireball from 3rd level to 5th level. If the Wizard also has this feat, this fireball would only be bumped to 4th level and still gain the benefits of not requireing the 'V' or 'S' component
What do people think of this as a feat? Is it too powerful? Is it on the uper edge of reasonable, bordering on abusable? or is it acceptable?
What about as an alternative to this, every time you take a metamagic feat after the first time, it's respective level modifier is reduced by one. For example, if you take 'Still Spell' once, it has a level mod of 1. If you take it a second time, it has a level mod of 0. Is this a suitable alternative?
