My time is currently dominated by Lord of the Rings: The Third Age and Godzilla: Save the Earth on PS2. Is World of Warcraft exceptionally cool, or is it just the newest, hottest thing?

And Mojo1701, even though the little triangle and the MSN symbol aren't on the same line, whenever I look at the bottom of your post Dark Side of the Moon starts playing in my head.

I was playing Zelda: Link's Awakening DX for the Gameboy (being the one Zelda game I had never played) but then I stopped to look at Zelda:The Minsh Cap (GBA)
And now for XMas I just got Metroid Prime 2, Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door, and Mario Party 6.
So I'm a few hours into Metroid and using Mario Party as my "other" game.

Just finished GTA: San Andreas, and finished Half-Life 2 before that. Both excellent games.

Is World of Warcraft exceptionally cool, or is it just the newest, hottest thing?

You know, I've enjoyed other games more. Prince of Persia: Sands of Time was more enjoyable for me, as was my first multiplayer experience lo these many years ago with Heretic.

But I've never had a game suck my brain in as much as World of Warcraft is doing. It's not as fun, but it's still tremendously fun, and it's incredibly addictive.

I've put about 150 hours into the game so far, and am nowhere close to halfway done with it. And there are plenty of people who've played far, far more than I have.

I'm playing Red Faction online. I like it a lot. I hang around the TATE NO MODS and LEG NO MODS games, occasionally playing PanjaLand, Viper 3, and the CoS games.

I'm also playing Seiken Densetsu 3 on ZSNES. I was playin FF1, but the combat was irritatingly slow and painful.

HL2 for me. A fantastic game ........ soooo much better than DoomIII

I'd love to try out a MMPORG but because of work I never get the time so alas the money spent wouldn't be worthwhile for me.

I've just ordered Farcry for 12quid on Amazon so I'll be playing that in the New Year.
