Midnight or AU

I vote Midnight. Lower learning curve for you and your players and there are few sites out for Midnights with ideas for games.

Not to mention the fact them Night King fellows aren't exactly eager to have some wannabe heroes parading around their turf.

I might worship a god named Nightfall, but it would have to be a real god.

As for a vote on these two awsome games, I can't see how to combine them into one game, they are way too different.

My vote goes for AU by a slight margin just because its easier for me to get players to play that than Midnight. AND...the new races and classes.

I do like midnight's magic system more, and I do like the world aspects of roleplaying possibilities more, and the heroic paths...

But I still side with AU. Man this is a hard one to vote for, for me at least.

Now, how about adding magic paths to AU? Wouldn't that be cool?

Trust me. Some day in Midnight lore, along side a sage named Ash Baylen, the god Nightfall, patron of rogues, bardic lore, and occasional mischief, will rise!

Thanks for all the input after reading what you guys had to say and consulting with the players I decided to go with the AU setting.

Yippee! Glad to hear we've got another AU recruit! Not to badmouth Midnight, I really know nothing about the setting, but you will love AU!

Edit: corrected "no nothing" to "know nothing". I really drank too much sangria on Labor Day!
