Round 4, continued

The ettin misses Bessie when she moos at the abishai, but then plants his feet and manages to hit her. (ooc: The ettin shouldn't have been dazed this round; I forgot to remove that text after its turn in round 3. So you get a move and minor action if you like.)

Round 5

The succubus flies close to the angel and attempts to charm it, failing, and failing to protect itself. (ooc: Gains CA, but takes -2 since the angel is not bloodied. Miss, and provokes an OA. Again, the succubus must fly 2 or crash next turn.)

The paralyth fares better, leaving painful welts with two tentacles before assaulting the angel's mind, but the angel remains true. (ooc: both pain lashes hit, 24 damage, marked and 5 ongoing psychic (save ends both), but the dominate requires an attack roll too, which misses.

The ettin smacks Bessie around again.

The abishai regroups, healing and clearing its mind away from the fray.

Succubus 75/90, shape changed to Angel, OA pending
Paralyth 61/96, under the bridge in J8
Will dead
Ettin, head 1 178/222
Abishai 22/51, bloodied, invisible except to Bessie

the angel is mostly ignoring the psedo-will, and merely gestures at him with a blade. Then angel will give Bessie a blessing, and blaze forth like a shooing star. STILL not done it will smash both blades into the floating skull. "Stay out of my head"

Bessie will edge close to the creek, her blind head swinging back and forth trying to pick a target.

Round 5, continued

The angel heals Bessie back to full health, then bursts into action. Both the succubus and the paralyth are hit by lightning, and the angel also cuts the floating brain with its dagger. (5 ongoing psychic. the longsword misses.)

Bessie backs toward the bridge and bellows at the ettin, dazing it momentarily.

First Post
The ettin will again struggle to hit Bessie with his greatclub as the beast's blasts continue to echo in its mind.

The pseudo-angel (succubus) looks at the Angel in anger, her face now a mask of rage. "You will bend to my will!" she shouts as she redoubles her efforts against the enemy. The succubus struggles to stay aloft after the lightning strike, but the strain is too much and she can't keep aloft, drifting back to the ground.

With the angel under mental assault, the Paralyth begins its own physical assault of the enemy. After its attack, the undead just hovers in place as it shakes off the dazing effect of the lightning strike.

The ettin continues to try and pound Bessie, but she's proving to be quite difficult for him to hit. The giant bellows in frustration.

The Abishai moves back towards the ravine.

Bessie will blast the undead thing beating up on angel.
If she realizes her last ally has changed sides, at least for now she will moo plaintively and look as sad as possible for a eyeless dinosaur, who was frequently in the running for silliest 3ed monster.

1d20+19=28, 2d8+8=14, 1d6=2
recharge fails.
Angel will come to his senses at the end of his turn, hoping not to have inflicted too much damage.
1d20+2=19

Round 5, continued

The ettin misses Bessie.

Round 6

The succubus smiles seductively at the angel, overwhelming its conscious mind. She then falls to the river below. (Provokes an OA for using a ranged attack when adjacent, but that won't stop the angel from being dominated.)

The paralyth wraps two pulsing tendrils around the angel, its horrible touch assaulting its mind further. (both hit, 26 damage + 5 ongoing psychic and marked. You can choose not to mark it if you like, since it's dominated.)

The ettin moves closer, but still can't seem to hit Bessie.

The abishai heals a bit more and lurks.

The angel.... (need an OA from evilh and a standard action for the dominated angel from renau1g)

Initiatives

Succubus 70/90, shape changed to Angel, dazed until end of angel's next turn, in the river 4 squares below bridge.
Paralyth 55/96, under the bridge in J8, dazed until end of angel's next turn
Will dead
Ettin, head 1 159/222
Abishai 27/51, invisible except to Bessie
Angel 90/168, attacks against are at -2, melee attacks do +1d6 radiant, slowed, 5 ongoing psychic and marked by paralyth (save ends both), dominated until succubus' ENT <== you're up
"Bessie" 122/122
Ettin, head 2 hp shared with head 1, dazed (saves automatically at ENT)

First Post
The insidious power of the succubus forces the angel to drop its weapons and fly towards Bessie.

[sblock=OOC]
Free: drop weapons
Move: to I7, does that draw OA's from the Abishai and the Paralyth?

First Post
As the angel flies towards Bessie, the invisible Abishai finally makes its presence felt and lashes out at the enemy with its tail. It pumps acid into the angels blood burning it from the inside as it retains its invisibilty to it.

The paralyth tries to swing a tentacle at the angel as it leaves, but the strike is well shy of penetrating the creature's defenses.

[sblock=OOC]
Abishai: OA
Abishai (Vs. AC); Acid Damage; Extra Damage (1d20+10=30, 2d6+3=13, 1d10=5)
Nice.. 25 damage, the 10 extra is from:
Deadly Ambush
The wrack abishai deals 1d10 extra damage to a target that
cannot see it, and that target is dazed (save ends).

Paralyth: OA
Vs. AC; Damage (1d20+16=20, 2d6+6=12) I'm assuming Miss, forgot +2 from CA, but it's negated by the angel's ability.
